The world's first personal virtual cruise assistant is poised to elevate MSC Cruises' Customer Service to an exciting level with traveler-centric technology that further enriches cruise vacations. Developed in partnership with HARMAN and Samsung Electronics, ZOE is a voice-activated artificial intelligence device in all cabins, available in seven different languages. Able to answer hundreds of cruise questions, ZOE can provide information on board services, instructions and suggestions or help book a service. An easy-to-use device - travelers just need to say "OK ZOE" and it will automatically be ready to help. Advanced speech recognition technology makes it easy to control and access all information using only voice commands.
ZOE is a pioneer in the industry and one more example of how MSC Cruises continues to lead in the use of technology to improve the guest experience on board. The ZOE will be launched at MSC Bellissima and will be available on all remaining new ships under the fleet expansion plan, including MSC Grandiosa and MSC Virtuosa in 2020.
Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises said: "The cruise experience is constantly evolving to become ever richer, offering a growing choice of services and facilities. In 2017, we introduced MSC for Me, an industry-leading digital innovation platform that revolutionized how travelers could adapt and customize their experience. The technology has been incorporated into the very design of the new ships, integrated into every stage of the development process of each prototype, from design to construction. "
