AIDAmira Sailing to Croatia as Future Hangs in the Balance
The AIDAmira has recently left Tenerife, where it has stayed for the past 21 months, under cold lay-up. The ship is expected to arrive in Pula, Croatia, later this month, as her future hangs in the balance. A request to change flag has been filled and thus, strong rumours of a sale have surfaced, with AIDA confirming that there have been numerous offers but no official decisions have been announced as of yet.

Former Mistral of Festival Cruises, the ship has just celebrated her 23rd birthday, in this first week of January, and nothing but rumours have surfaced, with a possible trip to Aliaga on the cards, or a recent/new operator buying, as investors look for second-hand tonnage on the market. Currently the AIDAmira, the ship recently operated for Costa, as Costa neoRiviera, for a short stint of about two years. Previously, it was the Grand Mistral, for IberoCruceros, which shut doors mid-last decade. Currently, there's nothing else but speculation to add and it's expected that this will be the case for the upcoming weeks.
